MEDICE opens its second site in Cologne

In June 2019, MEDICE Arzneimittel Pütter GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Iserlohn in South Westphalia, opens its second site in Rhineland metropolis Cologne, at

Auenstrasse 3, 50679 Cologne

(in the same building as RTL on the Picassoplatz, right by the Cologne DEUTZ railway station)

The continued growth of the company has led in recent years to a need for more staff. Around 600 employees work at present for the pharmaceutical producer, with the majority of them at the Iserlohn headquarters. In the past two years, a modern, new administration building has been constructed there. It was specially planned and designed for flexible working practices with a complex digital network and a high degree of online communication.

"The technical facilities which we have created in Iserlohn are our springboard for new sites, such as the one we have opened in Cologne," explains Dr. Katja Pütter-Ammer, managing partner. "Our specialists in the Cologne conurbation used to commute long distances, but now they can work close to their homes, without sacrificing the close collaboration and communication with colleagues in Iserlohn. We are delighted to be able to offer the benefit of workplace flexibility to future employees as well and so increase our appeal as employers for specialists from the Rhineland metropolitan region." Adds R. Ammer, "We mainly wanted to spare our employees their time-consuming commutes across the Rhine bridges."
