As part of the company's 75th anniversary celebrations, MEDICE called on its guests to support the environmental education work of NaturSpielWerkstatt Lindenhaus e.V. at the Stiftungshof with a donation instead of gifts.

The impressive sum of over 22,000 euros was collected as part of the celebrations to mark MEDICE's 75th anniversary. In the run-up to the anniversary celebrations, the invited guests were asked to donate to the Stiftungshof instead of giving gifts. These generous donations form the basis for the new "hands-on workshop" project, which aims to teach craftsmanship and sustainability in a natural environment.

"Together for a healthier world - that's what the MEDICE Health Family brand stands for. For years, MEDICE has endeavored to combine innovation, sustainability and responsibility in all its business and social activities. Supporting the environmental education work at the Stiftungshof fits seamlessly into this commitment. After all, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable education forms the basis for an (ecologically) healthy future," says Dr. med. Katja Pütter-Ammer, Managing Partner of MEDICE.

NaturSpielWerkstatt Lindenhaus e.V., known for its innovative educational and experiential programs, is extremely pleased with this donation. "The donation will enable us to start rebuilding a half-timbered garage as a workshop space," explains Lisa Tigges, a member of the association. "A workshop space is necessary in order to be able to teach practical activities from our educational program, such as the processing of wool from the farm's old country sheep breeds, seasonal fruit from the orchards or the production of natural dyes." The focus is also on seasonal natural crafts and upcycling projects. Through hands-on experience, visitors learn to appreciate seasonal food, textile products, animals and plants.

Thanks to the commitment of the Märkisches Sauerland Foundation, planning permission has already been granted and initial planning has begun. "We have already been able to recruit the first craftsmen and technical experts as volunteers to help us realize the project," continues Tigges.

The MEDICE Health Family, which has deep roots in Iserlohn, is once again demonstrating its strong commitment to the local community through this campaign. "We are proud to be able to support this project and would like to thank all our guests and partners who have made this possible with their donations," says Dr. Katja Pütter-Ammer.

"The generous donation is a fantastic start to this building project. We very much hope that we can attract more donors or inspire people to volunteer for our project," adds Reinhild Altinger.
