Information on your right to object according to Art. 21 EU-GDPR

1. Individual-case right to object

You as the data subject have the right, due to your special cicumstances, at any time to object against the processing of your personal data, if such processing is otherwise lawful under Art. 6 Sec. 1 e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) and Art. 6 Sec. 1 f GDPR (data processing due to overriding interest of data controller); this also includes profiling according to Art. 4 Sec. 4 GDPR performed on this legal basis.

If you object, we shall not process your personal data anymore, except, if we can show compelling reasons to further processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is done to protect and defend us against legal claims.

2. Objection against further processing to direct marketing purpose

In certain cases we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You have the right at anytime to object against such processing of your personal data for marketing purposes; this also includes profiling, if it is connected to such marketing.

If you object to processing your personal data for purposes of direct marketing, we shall not use your personal data for this purpose anymore.

If you do not wish to receive further marketing materials from us, there is also the possibility for you to be entered into our blocking database. The personal data in this blocking database is only used to check whether you have objected against direct marketing. Using this database may protect you better against unwanted direct marketing than a complete erasure from our marketing databases.
